Ordering & Shipping

Standard shipping within the US typically takes 3-5 business days. International shipping takes 7-14 business days depending on the destination. Express shipping options are available at checkout for faster delivery.

Yes, we ship to over 50 countries worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination. All international orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information. You can use this tracking number on the carrier's website (typically USPS, UPS, or FedEx) to monitor your package's progress.

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement. After that, orders enter processing and cannot be changed. Please contact us immediately at enquiries@bluemaestro.com if you need to make changes.

Returns & Warranty

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all products. Items must be returned in their original condition with all accessories. Contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the return.

All Blue Maestro sensors come with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. This includes sensor malfunction, display issues, and connectivity problems under normal use. The warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage (except for IP67-rated products used within specifications), or battery replacement.

Email enquiries@bluemaestro.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable. Our support team will troubleshoot the issue and, if necessary, arrange for a replacement to be sent. We typically respond within 1 business day.

Batteries are considered consumable items and are not covered under warranty. However, our sensors use standard coin cell batteries (CR2032 or CR2477) that are widely available and easy to replace.

Product Support

Most of our sensors use a twist-off back cover. Turn the cover counter-clockwise to open, replace the coin cell battery (CR2032 for Disc Mini, CR2477 for Disc Maxi) with the positive (+) side facing up, and twist the cover back on. Detailed instructions are available in the bmLogger app under Settings > Device > Battery Guide.

Our sensors are factory-calibrated and ready to use out of the box. If you need traceable calibration for regulatory compliance, we offer UKAS-traceable calibration certificates as an add-on service. Visit our Calibration Certificate product page for details.

First, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the sensor has a fresh battery. Try restarting the app and your phone. Make sure you're within Bluetooth range (typically 10-30 meters). If problems persist, try removing the battery for 30 seconds to reset the sensor. Contact support if issues continue.

Yes! The bmLogger app can connect to and manage multiple sensors simultaneously. For larger deployments, our BM Gateway can monitor up to 50 sensors and sync data to the cloud automatically.

bmCloud & App

Yes, the bmLogger app is completely free to download and use on iOS and Android. There are no subscription fees for basic functionality including Bluetooth connectivity, data logging, alerts, and data export.

bmCloud is our cloud monitoring platform that works with the BM Gateway. It allows you to monitor sensors remotely from anywhere with internet access. Personal and small business use is free. Enterprise plans with advanced features are available for larger organizations.

In the bmLogger app, navigate to the sensor's data view and tap the export icon. You can export data as CSV files via email or save to cloud storage. The export includes timestamps, temperature, humidity, and any alert events.

With the basic app, sensors can only be connected to one device at a time. With bmCloud, you can create team accounts where multiple users can view sensor data and receive alerts. This is ideal for businesses requiring shared monitoring.

Technical Questions

Our sensors feature industry-leading accuracy: ±0.1°C for temperature and ±1.8% RH for humidity. This precision is achieved using Sensirion SHT4x sensors, among the most accurate available. Each sensor is individually calibrated during manufacturing.

Standard Bluetooth range is approximately 30 meters (100 feet) in open space. The Disc Maxi with Bluetooth 5.3 can achieve up to 100 meters in optimal conditions. Walls and obstacles will reduce effective range.

Storage capacity varies by model: Disc Mini stores up to 20,000 data points, Disc Maxi stores up to 100,000 data points. At a 15-minute logging interval, this provides months to years of continuous logging. Data is retained even if the battery is removed.

The Disc Mini Waterproof model is IP67 rated, meaning it can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Standard models are splash-resistant but not waterproof. For wet environments, we recommend the IP67 model or a protective enclosure.

Most models operate from -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F), suitable for freezer monitoring, cold chain, and most environmental applications. The sensors themselves can withstand brief exposure to higher temperatures but accuracy is optimized within this range.
