Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Warranty & Refund Policy (the "Policy") explains the circumstances under which Blue Maestro ("we", "our", or "us") will accept the return of products purchased directly from us through our Website Store or otherwise and the remedies available to you ("you" or "Customer"). Nothing in this Policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer legislation and applies to all purchases unless otherwise agreed or amended in writing.
2. 30-Day "No-Questions-Asked" Refund
We offer a 100% refund of the product purchase price on up to five (5) units per order returned within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date, provided the items are returned in "as-new" condition (see Section 4).
- Original outbound shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
- Return shipping is at the Customer's expense unless the product is confirmed to have a Manufacturer Defect (see Section 6).
- We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service; refunds can only be issued for items we physically receive.
3. Bulk, Custom & Special-Order Purchases
Orders for six (6) or more identical units, or any order containing customised hardware or software, do not qualify for the 30-day "no-questions-asked" refund. Such products are covered exclusively by the Warranty remedies described in Section 6.
4. Return Eligibility & Restocking Fee
- Products must be returned unused, unaltered, and in their original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
- Items showing signs of use, installation, modification, neglect, or damage (including water ingress on non-waterproof models) are not eligible for refund or exchange.
- If a return is accepted but the original packaging, accessories, or manuals are missing or damaged, or if the unit appears marked or used, Blue Maestro reserves the right to apply a restocking fee of up to twenty per cent (20%) of the product price. This amount will be deducted from the refund.
5. Shipping Charges
- Where shipping charges were itemised at checkout, those charges are non-refundable except where a Manufacturer Defect is confirmed.
- For orders advertised as "free shipping", Blue Maestro may attribute a reasonable portion of the purchase price to outbound shipping costs, which will be excluded from any refund.
- For valid Warranty claims (Section 6) Blue Maestro will reimburse return postage costs up to the value of the original outbound shipping charge once the defect is verified.
6. Limited Warranty (6 Months)
- Coverage: Blue Maestro warrants that hardware products will be free from Manufacturer Defects in material and workmanship for six (6) months from the purchase date. For products with sealed batteries, the warranty period is thirty (30) days.
- Remedies: At our option we will (a) repair, (b) replace with a new or refurbished item of equal value, or (c) refund the purchase price of any product that proves defective under normal use.
- Range Specification: Claims relating solely to wireless range are excluded if, under testing, the device achieves at least 30 m / 100 ft line-of-sight range.
- Exclusions: The warranty is void where damage results from misuse, accident, unauthorised modification, operation outside the product's stated environmental or electrical specifications, or exposure to liquids on non-waterproof models.
- Procedure: Warranty claims must be initiated by obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorisation ("RMA") within the applicable warranty period and returning the item within fourteen (14) days of RMA issuance.
7. Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Procedure
- Contact us at support@bluemaestro.com with your order number, contact details, and a description of the issue.
- We will issue an RMA code and return instructions. Items returned without an RMA may be refused or experience processing delays.
- Include the RMA code clearly on the outside of the package and within any correspondence inside the parcel.
8. Inspection & Processing Time
All returns are subject to inspection and verification. Refunds or replacements will be processed within ten (10) business days of receipt of the returned item or, for Warranty claims, within ten (10) business days of defect confirmation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blue Maestro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with the purchase or use of our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the affected product.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Policy and any dispute or claim arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. You agree that the courts of the State of Texas shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
11. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
